Customised Qualifications

Customised (sometimes called Self-regulated) qualifications are mainly developed and delivered with organisations and training providers who operate outside the UK, or are in sectors for which we are not regulated by Ofqual. Customised qualifications are developed and delivered to the same rigorous standards as regulated qualifications but are not regulated by Ofqual.

Level 5 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle: Evaluating their Role in Chronic Disease Development. Delivered by the Institute of Health Sciences in Ireland, this qualification critically evaluates different theories and approaches and explores how and why nutrition and lifestyle choices influence the development of chronic disease, with a particular emphasis on the Functional Medicine approach. Level 6 Diploma in Personalised Nutrition and Therapeutics. Delivered by the Institute of Health Sciences in Ireland. This qualification is designed for people who wish to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist. It is also available to other healthcare professionals wanting to gain an understanding of the Functional Medicine approach to managing chronic disease and apply the principles of Personalised Nutrition. It will also appeal to healthcare professionals wishing to obtain an understanding of the potential role, and also limitations, of nutrition and lifestyle interventions in chronic disease management. Level 6 Diploma in Nutritional Therapy. Delivered by the Institute of Health Sciences in Ireland, this qualification combines the content of the Level 5 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle: Evaluating their Role in Chronic Disease Development and the Level 6 Diploma in Personalised Nutrition and Therapeutics to provide a complete qualification pathway for those who wish to qualify as Nutritional Therapists. The mandatory units cover a full curriculum, with optional practical units for those who wish to be licensed to practice as Nutritional Therapists. It uses a blended learning approach and is a total of 1005 hours for the mandatory units and 1270 hours when including the optional practical units. Diploma in Nutritional Science and Therapeutics. Delivered by the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health this qualification aims to equip learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to become Nutritional Therapists. The qualification is mapped to the Core Curriculum for Nutritional Therapy as developed by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC). It is a total of 1650 hours. Level 5 Diploma in Eurythmy Education & Level 6 Diploma in Eurythmy as a Performing Art. Delivered at Eurythmy West Midlands these 2 diplomas offer a thorough education in Eurythmy, a movement form developed initially by Rudolf Steiner. These courses gives the learner a foundation to go on to teach public classes and participate in performing work.
